The incorporation of
NIV Verona S.p.A. into Sacmi Verona S.p.A, formerly Sacmi Labelling, came into effect on 1st April 2010. Both operate out of the Mozzecane (VR) plant and are 100% owned by H.P.S. S.p.A.
NIV’s integration into Sacmi Verona was done to ensure a shared strategic approach within the Beverage business in the Verona–Mantova area and, as part of a wider SACMI Group reorganisation process, to concentrate and integrate those services and activities intended to support business development.
Sacmi Verona will continue to use the NIV sanitaryware casting brand and will, internally, make the machines and execute the modelling.
Furthermore, the design and construction of conveyor belt systems will complete the product range on offer to both the general packaging market and those Group companies operating in the Beverage sector.
Moreover, the Sacmi Verona LABELLING business unit produces a comprehensive range of automatic labelling machines for glass, plastic and metal containers for the beverage, food, detergent, pharmaceutical and packaging industries.
This merger will allow the company to employ human resources more rationally and concentrate its activities so as to provide customers with greater efficiency and effectiveness.
