The purpose of the CMFLOW™ extruder is the same as the previous generations: to melt the resin and continuously feed it to the metering and mixing stations. However, CMFLOW™ takes advantage of a smaller screw with a diameter of 35 mm only. As a result, it achieves a maximum capacity of 200 Kg/hour, the same as a conventional 75 mm diameter extruder.
Energy saving up to 9 %
Up to 50% black spots reduction comparing the same resin processed with traditional extruders.
Caps produced with CMFLOW™ extruders offer at least the same resistance to stress cracking as those made with traditional extrusion technology but through processing the plastic at a lower temperature.
It allows faster and easier maintenance than traditional extruders since the motor is attached directly to the screw without needing a gear motor.
The layout is almost 1 meter shorter than a traditional extruder with a diameter of 75 mm.
CMFLOW™ is the standard of SACMI CCM48SD presses and can be also implemented on CCM24SF and CCM32MC versions
