Sacmi to sponsor Material Chemistry and Ceramic Technology degree course

For three years Sacmi Imola will be one the sponsors of the Material Chemistry and Ceramic Technology degree course held at Faenza. Now in its fifth year, the course has completed the initial trial period, which saw the Sacmi Group provide significant financial support.
Held in the Faenza district of the Bologna-Ravenna University area, the course has steadily extended the range of subjects covered, from ceramic materials to materials in general, and has provided students with innovative, professional training that will aid their search for employment. This degree course aims to become the focal point, or “hub”, for the area’s further education requirements in this field, acting as a catalyst for development and innovation by offering training and re-training to both schools and companies and opening up its facilities to the local industrial community.
In addition to financing the setting up of the “hub”, our sponsorship also consists of a series of 1000-Euro scholarship grants, to be assigned to the best students on the course, and the purchase of laboratory equipment.
