Protesa was launched in 2002. The mission: to supply services to support the manufacturing industry, with special attention being paid to those companies in and around Imola and, more generally, those with high-tech production operations. The majority shareholder and the de facto main customer and partner is Sacmi Imola. Protesa now employs over 60 people, all high school diploma holders or university graduates, and sales are growing at the rate of 30-35% a year.
The potential for a jump to the next level of quality have been there for some time – hence Protesa’s decision to invest in new head offices, which will be inaugurated Saturday 10th November at 10.30 a.m. Attending the ceremony will be local authorities, top Group managers and commercial partners. “This new facility, which has been fully operative now for some months, offers plenty of space for the full development of our activities”, observes Protesa’s General Manager, Francesco Carati.
From the “quality” area to the “machine tool” area and the “engineering” front, Protesa offers businesses a wide range of technological services. The company supplies maintenance, design, prototype-making, quality control, and personnel training services and also commercialises – via its own sales agency – cutting-edge machine tools and metrologic equipment, all outstanding in terms of both performance and reliability; this mix makes the company highly competitive on its reference market.
