As part of its drive to provide the market with an ever-more comprehensive range of products and services a new Sacmi Group company, operating in the ceramic tile glazing and decoration sector, has been established.
Completion of this project involved INGEGNERIA CERAMICA and SACMI: the former as a partner specialising in the supply of glaze and decoration application systems and the provision of close customer support with regard to technological aspects, the latter as the main market reference point for the supply of complete plants.
The aim is to create a company that can offer customers specific, high quality support vis-à-vis the glazing line, especially as regards specific problems concerning application and the aesthetic improvement of the product.
IN.TE.SA., which works in close collaboration with SACMI’s central laboratory, should be seen as a specific ‘tool’ for managing the technological development of glazing departments in plants already working or being expanded.
The product range will include the entire glazing line and relative glaze application and decoration accessories, tintometric systems and colour control systems specifically designed for digital printing (Protolab).
The company will have its own technical-commercial department, which shall carry out worldwide promotional and service activities, ready, where necessary, to support the sales activities of SACMI personnel but also able to carry out its own independent distribution programmes.
Insertion of this company in the glazing and decoration field will precede promotion of new digital printing systems, already part of the Group’s imminent projects.
