PMAI (Powder Metallurgy Association of India), India's most important association of Powder Metal professionals, founded in 1973, has organised the industry's annual International Fair and Conference, to be held this coming February in New Delhi, one of India's biggest automotive hubs.
With its highly qualified workforce and strong presence on world markets, the country is rapidly expanding into the transport (especially automotive), energy, environmental and water generation/purification fields and is fast becoming a pivotal Powder Metal development area.
Due to be held from 20th to 22nd February at the Hotel Pride Plaza in New Delhi, the event will touch on all the main PM themes; there will be talks from key experts in the industry, who will illustrate the latest developments regarding applications and production processes for the manufacture of sintered parts.
As in the last edition, this year's event is expected to see very high attendance; all producers, in fact, are seeking advanced solutions with which to improve their production processes and expand a PM market that has, in India, gone from strength to strength.
As is now the custom, the conference will be combined with a fair. Sacmi, buoyed by the positive experience of previous editions, will once again be attending with its own stand (n° 19) where customers can find out all the latest on technologies developed for the PM field, such as the MPH hydraulic presses and the roller kilns built by German subsidiary Riedhammer.
Already used in many countries worldwide, India included, the presses in the MPH range feature innovative design and a new, ultra-efficient control system (API – Assisted Programming Interface), plus cutting-edge production standards: that means excellent quality and outstanding customisation, not to mention a considerable reduction in manufacturing costs.
