Competitiveness, efficiency and digital quality: SACMI at Ceramics China 2026

Guangzhou (24-27 June 2026, Hall 3.1, Booth C221). From forming to firing, from body preparation to decoration and digital quality control, SACMI presents a comprehensive range of technologies at Ceramics China 2026, designed to increase productivity, optimise costs, and enhance the quality and efficiency of the ceramic process

SACMI renews its participation in Ceramics China, bringing its latest innovations for the ceramics industry to Guangzhou. Among the highlights of the 2026 edition are new solutions aimed at increasing plant competitiveness and efficiency, with digital process control and the maximisation of final product value, featuring specific solutions that respond to new trends in both the Chinese and international markets.

High-performance forming: Continua+ and PHC Red Edition

SACMI solutions for ultra-high-productivity forming take centre stage at the fair, with the Continua+ and PHC Red Edition ranges.
Designed to guarantee maximum production speed alongside the lowest cost per square metre produced, SACMI technologies ensure high operational flexibility, optimised consumption, and maximum reliability in slab and tile production processes.
The continuous evolution of solutions towards increasingly high speeds alongside reduced consumption reaffirms SACMI plant engineering vision, which aims to combine industrial performance, product quality, and the economic sustainability of the process.

FMN Kiln: greater efficiency and production versatility

The star of the show in Guangzhou is the new FMN single-layer roller kiln, SACMI response to the need for competitiveness, high performance, and energy efficiency in firing processes.
Available in various width and length configurations to suit every production requirement, the kiln guarantees high firing uniformity, reduced consumption, and lower maintenance.
The kiln is natively designed to integrate hot air recovery systems, intended to supply the dryer even in a “zero fuel” configuration, thereby improving the factory’s energy balance.

Deep digital and finishes: adding value to the product

Digital decoration and surface finishing continue to represent one of the main drivers of innovation in the ceramics sector, key stages in adding value to the finished product.
At Ceramics China 2026, SACMI presents a comprehensive ecosystem for decoration and finishing, ranging from Deep Digital solutions for the application of inks, glazes, and materials, to the full range of lapping, polishing, and grinding technologies developed by BMR.
Innovating aesthetic and material quality while developing unique yet perfectly repeatable products is one of the opportunities available to customers, thanks to an integrated, reliable, and digitally controlled process.

MMN: flexibility and control in body preparation

Another star of the show is MMN, the SACMI modular mill that embodies unique expertise in the grinding process, with all the benefits of a modular architecture for process flexibility and reduced consumption.
Designed with Italian engineering and local manufacturing, the new MMN range represents an advanced and competitive solution, ensuring production continuity, reliability, and high operational efficiency.

Process control

With the new generation of vision systems featuring cameras manufactured by Italvision, the entire ceramics production process is evolving towards an increasingly smart and automated ceramics factory.
In addition to 100% production control, these systems are taking quality control a step further by enabling process control, thereby improving quality, reducing waste, and simplifying machine management.

Sanitaryware and tableware, quality and automation

The SACMI offer at Ceramics China 2026 is completed by a range of solutions dedicated to the sanitaryware and tableware sectors, developed with a focus on automation, process stability, and the quality of the finished product.
From high-pressure casting to robotic glazing, right through to automated handling, SACMI’s solutions enable improvements in production consistency, process control, and overall plant efficiency.
Highly customisable, the SACMI proposal has further evolved thanks to the integration of technologies by Lippert, a long-standing leader in automation and industrial handling.
Among the new developments is the extension of the new FMN range of kilns to tableware firing processes, reaffirming the versatility of the SACMI platform across various ceramic applications. This offering complements the established SACMI-Riedhammer range, an international benchmark in the production of high-performance kilns for sanitaryware and tableware.

SACMI Nanhai: local production, global service

For over thirty years, SACMI Nanhai has been the SACMI point of reference in China for production, technical assistance, and customer support.
A strategic hub for the supply of spare parts and service, in recent years the SACMI Nanhai facility has taken on an increasingly strategic role in the direct production of machinery as well. This approach enables SACMI to guarantee rapid response times, proximity to the customer, and maximum return on technological investment, combining SACMI engineering with a local industrial presence.
