SACMI Packaging & Chocolate @ Fruit Logistica 2026

Complete primary-secondary fruit and veg packaging solutions that ensure operational flexibility, higher quality and smooth management: visitors will also have the opportunity to see an integrated mini-line that packages cherries, built for a major global player based in Chile

From 4 to 6 February 2026, Berlin will once again be the world’s fruit and vegetable capital as a new edition of Fruit Logistica - a key international showcase for the entire fresh produce supply chain - gets under way. And SACMI Packaging & Chocolate aims to play a leading role at the fair with a full range of primary and secondary packaging machines/technologies, all designed to respond to the latest industry trends in terms of efficiency, quality and packaging versatility.

TF 12 Small + LF 20 – Mini-line for cherries

Fruit Logistica 2026 will preview the new integrated mini-line consisting of the TF 12 Small (box forming) and LF 20 (lid application): a solution that aims to create high-quality packaging for fresh produce.
Designed to meet the need for quality packaging in areas where space is restricted, the TF 12 Small is a compact former for open boxes, plaform and citrus trays in corrugated cardboard. Its outstanding compactness allows it to handle a broad range of sizes, from the smallest to standard-sized boxes, at output rates of up to 40 trays per minute. The machine also streamlines maintenance and control.
Integration with the LF 20 lidding unit forms a complete, compact line that is ideal for packaging high-quality fresh produce. The line on display in Berlin was built for COPEFRUT, a long-standing SACMI customer and one of Chile's leading cherry producers.

TF 40 Imola – Tray former with new automatic corner assembly changeover

Alongside this mini-line we find the TF 40 Imola: designed to form trays and plaforms with reinforced corners, this machine provides excellent packaging strength and effective product protection throughout the supply chain. A market standard-setter since its launch, the TF 40 Imola has, over the years, evolved to incorporate new automation solutions, such as electronic control with brushless motors. The latest version on show at the fair features automatic corner forming changeovers (no tools required). This enhances operational efficiency, reduces set-up times and maximizes packaging precision. Designed to be inserted in modern packaging lines with ease, the TF 40 Imola combines mechanical reliability, manufacturing flexibility and excellent user-friendliness.

Flow-pack and vertical primary packaging

To complete the range, SACMI Packaging & Chocolate provides flow-pack and vertical packaging solutions. On the flow-pack side, SACMI will be showcasing the HPS 20, a fully electronically controlled horizontal packaging machine that delivers reliability, ease of use and flexibility. Particularly suitable for low- and medium-speed fruit and vegetable lines, this machine features material feed rates of up to 20 linear meters per minute and ultra-high levels of precision and packaging quality. Optimized design streamlines format changeovers, electronic control reduces operating and maintenance costs, and users can use either manual product insertion or automatic feed systems.
Completing the range on show at the fair is the VPS 40, a vertical packaging machine for heat-seal film bags. With its compact, fully servo-assisted structure, the VPS 40 ensures operational continuity, maximum sealing precision and consistent quality. The vertical configuration lets users make flexible packaging from film rolls and is highly adaptable to different sizes and feed systems. Cutting-edge electronic control and a modular architecture speed up format changeovers and make integration into automatic lines easy.
